The taste of your tea has a lot to do with how clean your tea kettle is, having your tea kettle washed regularly can help keep your kettle clean but not enough to remove the stubborn stains that may be caused by hard water. I am going to share with you a few simple steps on how to clean a tea kettle with vinegar whether it be clean, a burnt tea kettle or to clean the inside of a copper tea kettle.
STEP 1: Fill the tea kettle half full with water.
STEP 2: Add at least 2 cups of vinegar to the water. This is depending on how severe the stain is.
STEP 3: Boil the mixture for at least 7 minutes until the lime deposit dissolves completely.
STEP 4: After boiling, let the hot water cool off then wipe the inside with a wet sponge. For more tougher stains you will apply the use of a scrub brush that can fit in to scrub off the stain.
STEP 5: After brushing, fill the tea kettle with water and boil again for at least 7 minutes, then pour the water out of the tea kettle and rinse again.
Enjoy your clean kettle!
