How to Cook Frozen Broccoli in the Microwave

Frozen vegetables are one of the most popular options for vegetarians. Unfortunately, there is little you can do to prepare them in the microwave.

Luckily, you can use your microwave oven to cook frozen vegetables and other foodstuffs. Here’s how you can cook frozen broccoli in the microwave.

How to Cook Frozen Broccoli in the Microwave?

If you are looking for a quick, easy way to cook frozen broccoli, the microwave is your best option.

Simply place the broccoli in a microwave-safe container or bowl and microwave on high for 3-4 minutes, or until slightly softened.

But healthy eaters will now have another way to get their daily dose of green veggies without resorting to more conventional cooking methods.

Frozen vegetables are just as good for you as fresh ones, and some frozen vegetables can be a real bargain.

Microwave frozen broccoli is a quick and easy way to have healthy vegetables on hand. All you need is a microwave and some broccoli. Simply pop the broccoli into the microwave and set the timer for 3 minutes.

It will be cooked perfectly, with no excess water or seasoning needed.

Microwave frozen broccoli can be served as is or with fresh chopped parsley garnished to taste. The microwave is so fast that your cooking time here shouldn’t need much adjusting for every household’s yummy preference!

How To Flavor Frozen Broccoli Florets

If you’re looking to add some flavor to your frozen broccoli florets, one option is to sprinkle them with salt, pepper, or other spices before cooking.

Alternatively, you could try adding garlic, ginger, or other flavorsome ingredients to the cooking water or oil before adding the broccoli.

Adding spices to the cooking water or oil helps bring out some of those flavors that are hidden in your frozen broccoli.

While adding a spice, do not stir so as not to break up florets across their surface area by rubbing them together.

You can use one shot glass full of seasoning per half-cup (120 ml) cup worth of feeding; however, you should taste it first and be sure they’re okay before pouring into another dish. The second riveting part is to season your favorite foods.

Casserole – While potatoes are boiling add 1 cup each of shredded fresh cheddar and mozzarella then remove from heat once they have softened a bit but no longer hard after four minutes (Note: remove the cover as it will prevent them ever getting soft).

After potatoes have been boiled, mix together the cream of chicken soup, sour creme, and mayonnaise on top.

Mix in 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese.

After three minutes of mixing place a layer or half each potato with broccoli & creamy sauce onto the bottom then cover with remaining ingredients over that! Bake for 45-60 mins at 350 degrees (180 degrees C).
